Expanding Access to Film Education At The Ghetto Film School

Educate The People
I started my career as a NYC public school teacher at The Cinema School, the only high school offering industry-standard film production training. For ten years, I taught English and film, helping students discover their creative voices.

I joined Ghetto Film School because I wanted to create broader access to quality arts education. Now, as Lead Program Director, I work with high school and college students to prepare them for careers in film and media. What inspires me most is seeing young filmmakers realize that their stories, and their perspective, belong in this industry.
