I develop and teach art classes to students ages 7-13, as well as provide 1-on-1 mentorship to aspiring young artists.

I want to bring a bit more hope and optimism to this world. I want to show the value and beauty of human creation (including all its imperfections). In a world where everything needs to be the fastest most perfectly produced version, I want to demonstrate to others the awesomeness of slowing down and enjoying the process.

I hope kindness, patience, and empathy for one another becomes easier to practice in our lives. Art is a great place to have tough (and silly) conversations, to communicate with one another on a personal level.

I do what I do because I love seeing that spark of joy and passion in young kids before the world drills in a specific way of right and wrong, or tells them their not good enough. Watching them approach drawings and projects in unique ways adults may never have thought of. Not always the most efficient but there's a beauty in their process. Plus we have a lot of fun doing it! I can't imagine my life without art and animation. It's in my DNA to create and I want to support kids who share the same love or are just looking to do something fun for a bit.
