My name is Shannon Ashe, and at The Everywhere Project, our main goal is to treat human beings like what they are—human beings. Addiction affects everyone, no matter your race, income, or where you’re from. Everybody knows someone who’s been affected. Our goal is to offer dignity and compassion by giving people the choice of a hot meal, clothing, or harm reduction supplies—to bring comfort within a system that has left many behind.
Since starting our street outreach in 2021, we’ve never missed a single Wednesday or Saturday. What makes The Everywhere Project different is that we serve anyone, no questions asked. We believe in treating everyone like family and helping those who need it most.
This project has given me lifelong friends—people like Jen and Tom—and a community that my little girl will grow up surrounded by. It’s not just about service; it’s about connection, love, and seeing the humanity in everyone.
