Hello from Good Natured, I’m Shannon Ward!

So many of us are longing for connection and we often find that connection in third spaces, such as bars or churches or bowling alleys. Many third places revolve around alcohol and we set out to make something different with Good Natured and the response has been amazing.

Originally a ginger beer business, Good Natured has evolved into a a space where people can sit, talk and be around other people whether you know them or not. People are drawn to this place because it is welcoming space built for connection.

People have become so isolated and this place allows people to just exist. I have seen people come in and they sit all by themselves, look at their phones but eventually they find friends and build a community. It’s special to see and it keeps me going.

Good Natured is more than a business it’s a model for what building community looks like and how we are all better together.
