Born to a young teen mom, prioritizing my mental health and well being as a kid was secondary. I never felt heard as a child so I dedicated my life to building a safe space for young girls and women to achieve their best, built around principles of confidentiality and positivity. I'm inspired by the stories of overcoming difficult situations and obstacles by my patients and their families. By reaching further than my therapist chair, I've built the wellness mobile to meet my audience where they are - at school, church, conferences, parks and places where girls need to feel safe. By doing so, I hope to prevent generations of depression, mental illness and lack of self-esteem. My work brings me joy and lets me know that I'm doing something that I was meant to do and will have an impact for years to come.
