Reuse Center Builds Community

I am the founder and director of the Creative Reuse Center of RI in Providence, Rhode Island. We save reusable materials from the landfill and provide them at affordable prices to promote learning, discovery, and creative expression. I am inspired by everyday makers who turn trash into treasures. I am inspired by our artists in residence who create all of their artwork from reused materials and tell stories of courage, healing, and hope. I am inspired by the teachers who make use of our reusable materials to make their teaching come alive for students. Like reuse centers across the country we create a home for creative people to gather, protect the environment, and make art and reuse supplies accessible.
