I'm Eric Leonardson. I refer to myself as an audio artist and an educator. I lead guided "soundwalks" around the midwest to listen to our local environment, both natural and artificial.
It's a way to find some respite from a hectic, noisy life that we may be living. And also a way to get away from technology. And mute the phone or turn it off, so we're not consumed by media.
I find contributing to my community inherently gratifying. When I can share my curiosity and investigate to learn more, and help make a better world through that knowledge. So we're not mystified by the world, but realize we have more agency to change it for the better.
