I monitor and research freshwater habitats looking to provide people/organizations with the information they need to protect the environment and themselves. I am inspired by those who have taught me. They have shown me the impact that passion can have on the world and what it takes to make those words have meaning. What I get from my work is the comfort of knowing that my community has the information they need to protect themselves and satisfying the curiosity of those I meet while in the field.
