My dear friend Paula is the focus of this story. She asked me to help her mission and it has changed my life - and the lives of many others as a result.

She was raised in the projects in Miami. She moved to Hialeah and went to high school and became a mom and decided that she wanted to help her people in the community after finding out about the unhoused. She became a staple in the Broward community by doing food drives and events and achieve awards and contributions for her help with the community. She is a pillar in the community. She is a person that embodies the spirit of giving. she is in service of the community constantly.

For me, this opportunity came at a time when I needed purpose and meaning - and now I am the Director of Paula's Kitchen Mission and it's been an amazing experience!
