Nature became my medicine, so I built a community around it

Connect The People
I loved the restaurant industry, but the chaos and constant drinking made my anxiety spiral. I decided to take a sabbatical and spent a few months backpacking, and that’s when I realized how much nature helped me. Being on a trail did more for my mental health than anything else ever had. I wanted to bottle up that feeling and bring it back to people who may be struggling.

So when I came back to the Bay Area, I started the No Worries Amigo Hiking Club. The first hike had three people. But it quickly grew - people were eager to use nature to heal, support each other, and build community. Now we host hikes and different events for anyone who needs a safe place to breathe, reset, and feel less alone.
