My name is Drevian Arrington, and my name is Andre Willis, and we’re The Trash Boys.

One day our mom came into our room and saw us playing video games. She encouraged us to do something more productive, so we decided to start picking up trash in our neighborhood. One of our senior neighbors gave us a tip, and this sparked our own small business to offer low-cost services to seniors, veterans, and disabled residents.

We started a youth program to encourage other teens to do something productive to help their communities, too. Teens partner with us to do community service, and we try to mentor others to stay out of trouble and to stay focused on positive efforts that benefit our neighbors. It makes us feel good to be able to give back, and to give other teens work opportunities to support themselves.

We hope to eventually expand all around the world so that we can help as many people as possible.
