We’re Gina and Vincent Centauro, and we are the cofounders of Rescuing Families Inc. Our personal experiences with loss and grief drive our mission because we understand how difficult it is to have your life upended, even as a caregiver. We tackle issues like disrepair in bathrooms or the need for accessibility ramps. We understand these struggles firsthand and are committed to offering our support.

We started out as a small charity, holding garage sales to fundraise for these projects, but with the outpouring of support from our community, the supply overflowed into our backyard. Eventually, we opened a storefront to deal with all the inventory, and now we run the business to raise money for the renovations.

Our goal is to raise awareness about the daily challenges encountered by individuals with disabilities. It's crucial for communities to recognize and assist families in need within their neighborhoods. By extending a helping hand, we show these families that they are not alone in their fight, and together, we can make a difference.
