I am a spiritual director, social entrepreneur, and founder of Argrow’s House of Healing and Hope and Autistic & Loved, LLC.
During my time in seminary, I discovered social enterprise models and their ability to help those in marginalized communities. With this model in mind, I created Argrow’s House of Healing and Hope, a safe space for women healing from domestic violence. Named after my grandmother, who embraced love and kindness despite her experience in a violent marriage, Argrow’s House provides support groups, therapy, spiritual guidance, and social enterprising programs to nurture women’s minds, bodies, and spirits. We also make all-natural bath and body products and run Argrow’s Cafe, which gives women the opportunity to earn a living wage while connecting with our community.
In addition to Argrow’s House, I was motivated by my children to create Autistic & Loved, a company that seeks to provide autistic children and their families with a support system and a safe space to be themselves. We created a line of chewable jewelry and recently opened a sensory gym, empowering kids to celebrate themselves and feel like superheroes.
My work is deeply personal to me, inspired by both my own family and the changemakers around me. I’m so thankful for the privilege to do this work and continue my grandmother’s legacy in such a beautiful way.
Healing is a journey, and I hope to continue helping people along their paths to wellness and peace.
