I remember the time I was living in NYC, and my perspective changed when I connected with a homeless man, and realized how hard life was for him.

Shortly after, I found myself involved with United Way and getting involved in fundraising. I was elected judge of elections in Allegheny County to ensure a fair electoral process and served as a long term Rotary Club member receiving a Paul Harris award for service.

I have found real joy in helping others. I believe our nation can continue to thrive the more we all work together and put aside some of our personal time to be in service of others.
