My name is Ian Cawley and I am the director of Houses into Homes. My passion for this position started in my mid-40s where I had what some might call a midlife crisis. I was working a corporate 9-5, and although I had found professional success, I began feeling a growing disconnect between my career accomplishments and the impact I truly wanted to have on the world. I realized how fortunate I was to come home to a house with a loving family, which is when I decided to begin working for Houses into Homes.
Houses into Homes is dedicated to providing furniture and other household appliances to low-income families or individuals in need. Through this organization, I've been able to see firsthand how something as simple as a furnished home can restore dignity, stability, and comfort to people who might otherwise feel forgotten. This role has not only given me purpose but also deep gratitude for the impact that collective compassion can create.
