I volunteer at the front desk of Ronald Mcdonald House two times a month. I do it because of my experience with my daughter's health and the comfort and support that was given to me by board members of Ronald McDonald House. I am hoping to give back to those that shared the same experience. After our return from Houston, I sought out Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Tulsa, in an effort to pay that which can never be repaid.
My daughter was born with a hole in her heart; doctors were concerned, and my wife and I were devastated One of the board members of Ronald McDonald House empathized with my story and I was provided with refuge and comfort I'm 72 now and remain on the RMHC’s Advisory Board and volunteer at the House 2-3 weekends a month, recording more than 3,000 volunteer hours I want to give that same comfort back, especially to those who are in similar situations
