My name is Linda Lavigne. My three-legged dog, Samantha, and I worked at Hasbro Children's Hospital in the late 90s to early 2000s with patients ranging from toddlers and older. My inspiration was the kindness and love that Samantha inspired from movie producers to our neighbors and the impact of our pet therapy on the patients. We helped to bring joy in times of pain and establish pet therapy as a genuine form of medicine at the hospital.
