The kids keep me motivated! Year after year, audience after audience, when we see a crowd of kids ready to boogie, laugh and learn dressed in rainbow leggings and roaring animal t-shirts, it's easy to keep the fire and share an optimistic and awe-inspired view of the natural world and our human connection to the web of life of which we are ALL a part! I can't think of another country that has the geographical diversity of the US. Deserts, mountains, oceans, deciduous forests, prairie grasslands, alpine tundras... We've got it all! Using music and theater to joyously be a part of the creation of the next generation of environmental stewards (kids who will grow up, grow out and choose nature and science every single time in their adult lives) is our most authentic form of patriotism.
