I was raised to stand with folks that are struggling. The mission of SVDP is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and clothe the poor. By supporting our team at St. Vinny’s, I know I’m standing alongside the people doing the greatest good for the folks with the greatest need.
My wife and I attended Fantasy Flight, which is a program put on for children in Spokane/North Idaho that are in housing or programs for the underprivileged. St. Vincent de Paul gets to send ~12 kiddos each year to participate. It is absolutely the best Christmas experience I've had. Many years ago, I also ran an Ironman triathlon to raise money and awareness for our mission at St. Vincent de Paul.
