I am the Co-Founder and Director of Marketing and Merchandising at The Nest. I am inspired by my experience working in the fashion industry and seeing overconsumption firsthand, which ultimately lead me to train as a professional organizer and help people declutter rather than buy more. The Nest is on a mission to fight the toxic cycle of textile waste and overconsumption. We do this through our secondhand store, tailoring service, sewing classes, mending group, clothing swaps, and other slow fashion events. The Nest is an inclusive third space for individuals to make a positive impact in their own closets and the community. We are striving to become the most sustainable clothing donation center by circulating the clothing in our community rather than shipping bales overseas.
