My name is Krystal Sieben & I run Three Little Burdes Pony Company. We are a nonprofit providing free horse experiences in the Midwest for all ages & abilities. This entity was inspired by my own 3 children, and navigating the world as a mom to one child with special needs. The barn where my daughter took pony lessons became such a happy place for our family, I left my teaching job to begin this nonprofit in 2022. As far as I know there aren’t many organizations like ours. My goal is to open up the magic of horses to typically underserved populations by welcoming all abilities & eliminating cost barriers. Horses are wise, kind, confidence building, stress reducing creatures. Our guests can visit the farm & spend time in nature brushing, leading, & feeding treats to our gentle equines. This work has been so meaningful to me to see the excitement, acceptance, and pride in the families who visit. For no cost, no pressure, & a 1-1 experience tailored to them. They leave with gifted professional photos to remember their experience.
