Rebuilding life together at The Other Side Academy

We came to The Other Side Academy because we were done living lives defined by addiction, crime, and isolation. What we found here isn’t a quick fix or a therapy clinic — it’s a therapeutic community where we learn to transform our lives through shared responsibility, honesty, and hard work. We live and work together, holding one another accountable, running real vocational enterprises, and practicing the pro-social values this place teaches. There are no uniforms or guards — what binds us is mutual support and a shared commitment to becoming dependable, contributing members of society. Over thirty months, we learn not just job skills but how to keep our word, care for others, and take responsibility for our actions. This community becomes the foundation for new lives we could not have built on our own.
