Almost 4 years ago, I was working at a school and befriended a teacher who had adopted 3 kids from foster care and was in the process of finalizing a 4th child. During that process, she and I talked about me fostering, so that summer I went on a journey to become a foster mom. I opened my house that August, and by October, I had my first placement of a set of twins who were 7 months old. During a visit, I was informed that those twins had an older brother and the judge wanted to keep them together.

Those 3 kids were only supposed to be with me for two weeks, but God had other plans. The 3 precious boys who were my first and only placement became my beautiful sons on April 30, 2024. Our journey had so many bumps in the road and setbacks but God kept his promise to us by giving us each other. It has been the absolute joy of my life being their Mom.
