My name is Kimmy, I do volunteer work with Feeding San Diego as a way to give back to my community. My main responsibility is distributing food to people who need snacks or meals. One moment that really stands out was when we handed out apples. We organized them into big containers and made sure everyone who needed one could get a fresh fruit.

I got involved through my internship at Dexcom. As part of a company event, our team decides to partner with Feeding San Diego, which makes the experience even more meaningful. Working alongside my coworkers means we can help more people at once, and it has turned into a great team bonding experience too. It feels good to contribute to the community while strengthening our connections as a team.
