That dream has become my project, BOXCAR, a community-focused art space that will offer free film screenings, artist discussions, summer camps for teens, and a variety of creative, inclusive programs designed to support and celebrate local expression. Even though I’m not making money from it, the satisfaction of seeing people connect makes it worthwhile. I even left my job to follow this path because I believe in it so deeply.
What inspires me most are the people who supported and believed in me along the way. Without them, I couldn’t have taken this leap. Their trust gives me the courage to keep going.
In today’s busy world, it’s too easy for people to feel alone or disconnected. By offering BOXCAR, I hope to create a place where art, film, and conversation bring people closer together.
