My name is Mark and I am an artist and a futbol player and coach. Growing up futbol was a huge part of our culture, like church. But as a kid I had to beg my parents to allow me to play soccer. It's the cheapest sport--all you need is a ball to play. But here in the US it's one of the most expensive sports to play. When I had the chance to coach, I waited to find a program where the kids wouldn't have to pay. Playing futbal is more than a game; it's a culture and a community that allows kids to feel a part of something. That's what I wanted to teach.
