I am a foster care parent and my family is the only bilingual family serving our foster care community. Our focus is to foster school age children/teens. My inspiration is my late brother who was a foster parent and cared so deeply about protecting children. He was always helping others and giving to those in need. My hope is to help motivate others to consider fostering. There is a huge need for more foster parents. There are currently over 400,000 children in the foster care system. I truly believe every child deserves love, safety, and a family. They are worthy of having people in their lives who believe in them and who speak life into their situation. Fostering is more than opening your home, it's an opportunity to speak life into the next generation. It's crazy the difference ONE caring adult can make in a child's life.
