A place for healing and restoration

Supply The People
Every single person was going to be impacted by the pandemic, and so as an outpatient therapist at the time, I thought I could sit in an office and help 5 or 6 clients a day, but that wasn't enough. So then, in the summer of 2020 I did an open-air garage sale to see what the needs in the community were. And people showed up.

All of a sudden, I was having truckloads of donations come in. And then, with the money we raise, we tried to meet needs for people who had a financial needs.

After my home became too small for the donations, I came across a church for sale, and so I asked my retirement manager, "I want to buy a chapel." And he said, "Buy it. Cash out your retirement." And so I did it. And so here we are.

Our mission is to provide affordable essentials to people in an effort to decrease stress and improve mental health. Elderly, people with children, homeless, and people in treatment programs. It's really across all demographics. One of the tracks I could have chosen was to have a referral and an official intake form...where is the dignity in that? There's abundance. And the people that donate know that our whole mission is to help people have their needs met. And this community cares. It’s an avenue to healing and restoration.
