Sioux Falls is a beautiful city and I love paddling on the Big Sioux river with my fellow paddlers. We have been cleaning up the river for years along with the Friends of the Big Sioux. Loading our canoes with garbage and debris. Sometimes walking through the river, other times paddling.
Sioux Falls is a beautiful city full of nature and amazing people. Picking up trash may feel like a small act but it makes a difference. One person picking up trash can inspire many others. I love this city and this river and if it means getting a little dirty to make it better that’s a small price to pay.
