I’m a writer, martial artist, and community teacher who uses my story to help others rise, rebuild, and live strong. I grew up in the Bronx, where resilience wasn’t a choice - it was survival. Over the years, life tested that resilience. After facing years of physical pain and surgeries that took me off the mats, I had to find a way forward. I didn’t want a comeback. I wanted an evolution - a restoration of spirit.
That journey became the foundation of Living Strong, my philosophy and the heart of all I do. Through my writing, music, and Living Strong Radio show, I share messages of hope, purpose, and movement - for anyone who feels too broken, tired, or lost to start again.
In my local community, I teach the principles of confidence, mindfulness, and discipline through martial arts and partnerships with organizations that serve families, youth, and adults working through life’s challenges. Whether online or in person, I try to be that voice in the noise - a word of encouragement reminding people they are not alone.
What I gain from this work is connection - real, human connection. Every time someone tells me a message or story helped them hold on for one more day, it reminds me that purpose is found in service.
For me, lifting others up isn’t just something I do - it’s a way of life. It’s what I believe we’re all called to do as Americans: to show up, help one another rise, and keep the light shining - together.
