I was homeless for two weeks, and I had enough of it. I had children back then, and I decided I would never return to that situation. That’s what motivated me to help other women get out of it.

Tracy, a woman I once helped, went back to the streets and died of an overdose. She inspired me to create a program to help women transition from the streets to the safety of a home and never look back. Since then, I’ve been helping more women find their purpose, their deepest ambitions, and their sense of home. I just need them to have a small spark of deep desire to change their lives, because that’s what will get them where they want to be. It’s not about me taking them out of their situation, but about giving them a platform to help themselves.

I want to give them the tools to find their strength, keep working toward the things they want, and inspire them to do the same for others. Someone helped me, and I’m paying it forward by doing the same.
