My family and I came to the US 19 years ago in search of better opportunities and a better life. We originally didn't know if living here would work out and we were planning to go back home in two years' time. We ended up staying, and when we decided to begin the citizenship process, we were lost. If it wasn't for Proyecto Inmigrante, I don't know if we would've become citizens in the amount of time we did. They helped us understand the process and helped us filling out any paperwork through the help of their lawyers. They didn't charge us a dime and told us that they only accept donations. We are eternally grateful, and because of them, a family of five immigrants now hold dual citizenship. We donated to their cause, and I encourage anyone who can relate to our story to do the same.
