My wife and I were driving remote control cars on the beach in Texas when she suggested that we should put trailers on them. So I did. We bought little toy wagons and discovered the potential for picking up trash with RC cars. That’s how Litterbuggies started.
After we moved to Memphis, I began taking a LitterBuggie out on walks around different neighborhoods. I’ve picked up somewhere around 10,000 gallons of litter in Memphis with a total of around 30,000 to 40,000 gallons of trash. The online community noticed, and “Trash Mane” sort of became its own thing.
