I'm more than a farmer - I'm a provider for many and an advocate for all.

My name is David Cloniger, and I'm the Manager and Farm Director of Old School Farm. Our goal at OSF is to provide jobs for adults with disabilities, and to provide food to as many people as physically possible.

As a farmer, you're focussed on the wellbeing of everyone in the garden - not just the plants. It's about community. I think farming is a really great metaphor for life - you learn balance, and you learn humility.

When the mission farmers - the farmers with disabilities - notice something that needs to be done and take the initiative to do it, that's the goal being enacted. Providing for people, feeding people, is the ultimate goal; and I wouldn't have it any other way.
