I am Chef Reggie Miller, a farm-to-table chef here in Charleston, South Carolina. I am the Chef and owner of Miller Cuisine, a bespoke farm-to-table experience that seamlessly blends education on where food comes from and sustainable food practices. I create innovative dishes using open fire cooking techniques and, most importantly, seasonal and local ingredients.
For a long time, farm-to-table was a symbol of luxury, only something that a few could obtain. My goal and driving force is to make farm-to-table cooking accessible to everyone, helping folks learn to enjoy cooking by fostering an appreciation for locally sourced ingredients and global techniques. Local farmers have been hit hard and have been unable to make a living. More often than not, Cooks and Chefs do not build relationships with their farmers. Seeing that disconnect firsthand inspired me to build my business with the purpose of making a difference in the culinary industry. I aim to make that difference by creating a community where appreciation of farmers and local ingredients flows both ways and everyone can have a seat at the table.
