Share resources to build relationships for restoration in individuals, families, & communities

Provide For The People
Imagine seeing a Jesus story every single day. Coming back to experience more and more becomes contagious! Seeing Americans lay down their lives for one another, allowing their plenty to meet someone else’s need, so in turn someone else’s plenty meets their need models the heart of community and the love of Christ.

We all long to know we are seen and we matter and seeing neighbors befriend neighbors to meet basic needs through food, clothing, or an encouraging word makes a community a better place to live and work. We all have poverty and we all have gifts to share. When we bring our best to the table, a table where every person is welcome, we see God break down the walls of financial, physical, relational, emotional, and spiritual disparities to unite us around what matters.

At Grace Klein Community the primary resource we share is food which addresses a basic and essential need every person shares. When we have food to sustain us, we have energy to excel at work and school and contribute to our communities with innovative solutions to make all of our lives more rich and full.

Being a small contributor to massive impact is inspiring and motivating to me. The best part of becoming friends with people who look, live, think, and believe differently than me is valuing the unique gifts and abilities God has given to all of us, to make the world beautiful, if we all contribute our best. We are more similar than different and I value how loving our neighbors, uniting around food, and engaging in meaningful conversation unite us. Jesus prayed for us to be one as He was one with the Father and His prayer makes sense when we live the answer to His prayer and experience firsthand the power of unity and collaboration.

Volunteering has changed me and given me a unique perspective to see many different worldviews, all at the same time, which grows my empathy and love for all people and my commitment to sharing the hope I have in Jesus.
